At Atlantic Physical Therapy, we remain committed to providing safe, high-quality physical therapy while adapting to ongoing public health recommendations. We continue to follow CDC guidelines and state health recommendations to minimize the risk of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses in our clinic.
Our Infection Control Measures Include:
- Enhanced Cleaning Protocols: We regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces, treatment tables, and exercise equipment after each use with EPA-approved disinfectants.
- Hand Hygiene: Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the clinic, and we encourage frequent handwashing for both staff and patients.
- Ventilation & Air Quality: We maintain proper air circulation to reduce airborne virus transmission.
- Patient & Staff Screening: Patients and staff are asked to self-monitor for symptoms and stay home if feeling unwell.
- Appointment Scheduling: We continue to space out patient visits to allow for proper cleaning and to minimize overcrowding.
What We Ask from You:
- If you are experiencing fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste/smell, or any flu-like symptoms, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment until you are symptom-free.
- If you have tested positive for COVID-19, please follow CDC isolation recommendations before returning to the clinic.
- While masks are not required, you are welcome to wear one based on personal preference or health needs.
